New providence Island and Paradise Island:
Nassau: The Bahamian capital, is located on New Providence Island. New providence offers both old-world charm and the glamour of an international resort, visitors can enjoy the beaches during the day and be entertained with Las Vegas-style entertainment and high-stakes gambling at night.
The two major beaches associated with New Providence Island are:
where most of the resort hotels and tourism activities are found. Cable Beach is located several miles from downtown Nassau.

Paradise Island is often considered part of New Providence Island, Paradise Island has more of a resorts atmosphere than downtown Nassau on New Providence. Grand Bahama Island:

Freeport :is considered the main downtown area of Grand Bahama Island. Lucaya is a lovely garden like resort, which is separated from Freeport by four miles of highway. Lucaya National Park is home to one of the most secluded and beautiful beaches in the Bahamas.
The Out Islands:
Also know as the “Family Islands” the Out Islands include all the islands in the Bahama chain except for New Providence Island, the pace in the Out Islands is totally different from what you’ll find on New Providence and Grand Bahama Islands. There’s little or no nightlife, no gambling, and no dress code. The Out Island are meant for travelers who want a casual relaxed, and informal vacation experience.
The most important daytime activities include water sports such as diving, snorkeling, swimming, and fishing.
Some of the most frequently visited Out Island are:
Abaco: Which is a small island known as the sailing capital of the Bahama. It offers bare-boat sailing, deep sea fishing, and scuba diving.
Bimini: Which is a small island that lies closest to Florida. Known for big-game fishing, Bimini hosts numerous fishing tournaments every year.
Exumas: Which consists of a chain of islands that extend 130 miles. Sailing is the principal activity in the Exumas along with the other traditional water sports such as swimming, diving, and fishing

The swimmings pigs are located in the Exuma, which is a district of the Bahamas with over 350 islands. The popular island that you can stay at is Staniel Cay , but the pigs are on Big Major Cay AKA Pig Beach or Pig Island. It’s an uninhabited island except for the swimming pigs.
